How it works
- Cast a wide net. Our scripts sweep a grid of the UK through the Google Places API, then merge duplicates so every club is counted once.
- Check the details. We follow website links, pick out amenities, and flag venues you can actually book, refining rough data into something useful.
- Keep it fresh. New runs drop straight into the map, powering the search, filters, and city pages you see here.
Why PadelPickle?
PadelPickle started after one too many evenings juggling spreadsheets, Facebook groups, and half-broken booking widgets just to line up a match. The goal is simple: give players a live, trustworthy view of what’s nearby, what it offers, and how to get on court without the admin headache.
It’s a side project run by people who play, so accuracy matters. Data is rebuilt regularly, the source code stays open, and if something looks off you can trace it back and call it out. If the site helps you find a new club or squeeze in an extra game, it’s doing its job.
